Monday Blues

Hi! So, I am struggling a bit over here since my first exam paper for my postgraduate course will be on this coming Saturday, and hey guess what? I have not even start studying! This is what people refer to as committing suicide... I mean, for real like!

I just finished sorting out my notes for the Land Law subject (after I managed to finish up 1 assignment out of 5 that need to be submitted on the exam day!). We were told by our lecturer that the exam questions topic will not include those done in the presentations and assignments. That should divide half of the notes I have, don't you think so? NOT! I have sorted the notes, and well... there is another mountain piling up next to my pillow here! So, there is no way that I can finish studying those in like, err... 4 days?! I need luck, I think. I really do.

Well, on the greener side of the mountain (what is it about mountains, today eh?), I have a little update on my elevator guy! :)

So, when we had lunch in the cafetaria, for soooomeee reason... I have made up my mind that I am not going to pursue on liking him anymore. Because, it is like asking your cat to eat carrots? Yeah, like no can do. It's impossible to see him anywhere and you see him when you least expected! He's some sort of like a choc chip cookie, you see. One time he's there, and the other time he is not. Therefore, there is no way of getting to know him at all! So to speak. But, on my way back to the office... of course, in the lift lobby waiting for the elevator to arrive... then there he was! And I tried my very best to not feel anything about it. So, I was just pretending that it is like any other day. No reason to freak out or feels like there is a butterfly farm in your tummy! (I was with a friend, by the way).

In short, we've talked... again! And that means, he remembered me. And it seems like his friend knows something about it too, in a good way! So, it's not like I am the only one who's chasing cars! :)

And that blows away my Monday blues, for the rest of the day!

But one thing that made me think. Why, until up to this very moment... he has not ask for my number yet? What's on my mind is something terribly heart-wrecking, like a) he has a wife, b) he has a fiancée, c) he has a girlfriend, or even worst... d) he's simply not that into me!

Haha...
Ah well, we'll see. And until then, I need to study as much as I can for my paper on Saturday. So, good night, guys. Speak soon.

One Last Paper

So, today is my last exam!! Wee hoo!! ;) Can't wait for the moment when I have to complete the last sentence in my answer book!!!

Well, first thing first. I just need to have some faith that I can actually do this exam - even though deep inside I do feel like a total loser, trying so hard to remember the things that I have read! Sigh.

Anyway, this is it! Exam starts at 2pm and I need to get ready now.

Sleepy Head

I am feeling so sleepy! I really am. I just want this to be over soon!!!

I could not stand any minute of staring at these notes anymore. Sigh. This is so hard even though this would be the last paper I will ever have to sit for (touch wood - I hope I will not fail this paper!!!)

The Tale of Colourful Shoes

One paper down and one more to go, baby! ;)

The exam went well. I think. I mean, I was running out of time. It's always a good sign when you don't have enough time to fill in your answer book, isn't it? Unless the book is filled with my own yet another crappy ideas on inflation, land use and construction employment? Oh dear. Let's just not dwell on the past, shall we? ;)

On my way home, I walked passed the shops. Many colourful shops stocked with people. Many colourful people, shop. I just walked quickly, not to pay any attention to the others. Eyes on the ground and just wish that I have longer legs so that I will have wider steps, that I can be home quickly. I feel a bit groggy, perhaps I am still unwell? (Oh yes, but I got myself the sinus-congestion tablets on my way home.)

Then I saw shoes. Many shoes. Colourful shoes. A pair of shoes walking - alone, eh? Two pairs of shoes walking together - a happy couple? Or perhaps, two friends? Or maybe, mother and daughter? Many pairs - group of friends? Or perhaps, a double date? ;)

You won't know the truth until you look up and see it yourself. :)

Study Time!

It's a tea break! Nothing is more exciting than the tea break! :)

Well, I have been studying for the whole day today - dealing with chapters by chapters of construction employment, inflation and indices, urban land use - yawn! I know. But it has to be done. :( Those are some of the chapters for my Construction Economics subject. The first exam, which will be on Tuesday. Then, another exam on Thursday. One more week to go then I will be free from exams! :) Can't wait!

In the meantime, I just have to bear with it.

Sunday Tale

Hey all! I am just so lazy this morning. :) Ah well, it's Sunday anyway. I think I am allowed? I have a few newsflash to be told today. From health to study and me. Now, shall we start? ;)

First of all, I don't know what is wrong with me, but my fingers (some of them - not all, and it is purely random fingers, on different hands!) have decided to gain on weight! Only the tip of the fingers. They become swollen and red, and itchy at times!! No open wounds or anything like that. Just FAT fingers!

Have not gone to the doctor yet, as it might be just some allergies

or such? Went to pharmacy and talk to the pharmacist, who gave me various different possibilities, but then she just said something like, "ooh, but it is all on random fingers.., so, i really don't know". What????? Oh and also, because of they decided to become FAT, I can't do a proper fist with my fingers / hands. On my right hand, the middle finger is fat not on the tip, but then on the knuckles. The ring finger (also on the right hand), is on the tip. Left hand, on the pinkie... is fat on the tip! What is wrong with me????

Okay, then... about my exam. Well, I finished them on last Friday. It was a 3 hours paper, and I think I am doing okay! :) I am not as bad as the last time, when I was shocked to see the paper. So now, what I can do is just wish for the best to come. And, in the meantime... I have to start looking on the dissertation writing. That is next on the schedule, submission date 12th April 2010. 12,000 words. I think, (I hope...) I will do fine. :)

Then, somehow... I do not know what really happened to me, but I think I am evolving in becoming a new person! A good one! :) Yesterday, I woke up quite early, (as to my standard! haha...) and doing the reading list for my dissertation! How odd is that? It was Saturday!! Haha... So, I think this is good? :)

Next, I changed the colour of my hair!! Okay, I have shown to my mom and my brother... But my brother said that there is not much difference. Haven't heard from mom yet. But I think there was a bit! It was not the normal bleach colour, but it was henna instead? I got it from my shop, on my way back home from the exam! :)

I just decided that I want to do something to celebrate, but I don't really want to go out... so there you go! Pampering day!! It was so hard to put it on, seriously!! Then, after mixing it (since it's in a solid form!), I applied it to my hair... and Oh GOD!! It's messy and the most horrible smells on my hair!! But then, I have to leave it overnight, I put foil paper on my hair, then cling

film (as if it was a sandwich!!), then a shower cap, then I managed to sleep on it!

Next difficulties I encountered, when I was to clean it!! Went to the shower cubicle, (oh btw, my neck feels like it's going to fall off, to hold on to the heavy hair on me!! Henna is sooo heavy!), washed it off and it splattering everywhere! Super-messy!! But then, hey... I got a really nice, shiny healthy hair I think? (See the photo!!) So, what do you think? Do you think there is any differences? :)

I won't have any specific entry for today. I am up to my eyeballs at the minute with the studying! :( Exam is tomorrow, so I hope I will be seeing you guys tomorrow for a heart-wrecking post on how terrible I did in the exam. :( Oh.
