Smile!

Saturday it is.

Smile.

After all, it is Saturday and you have all the reasons to smile, don't you? *grins*

Do you know that it takes more muscles to smile than it does to frown? And I have stumbled upon Meganmooren's Blog with her list of How To Burn Calories - Without Even Knowing It.
It's a good read. I had fun reading it and I am sure you will too. Go and find out!

So, a smile eh? What about that? The sight of anyone smiling in front of you is addictive. A smile is, undoubtedly addictive. Your smile will bring smiles to others around you. A smile creates sparks of fun that happily explodes in you that creates funny feeling inside the heart and it soothes the body, mind, and soul. No matter how sad you are at that very moment, try to smile and trust me, somehow, you will release the negativity and bad vibes inside you and then you will be happier and relaxed altogether!

There are millions of reasons to smile but here are some general ideas that will put a smile on your face:-

  •  it makes us attractive (would you rather approach a person who is smiling at you or someone who frowns at you? See! When you smile, it attract others. People will be drawn to you! So, start smiling, but make sure it is a genuine one though! :) )
  • it changes our mood (whenever you feel low, try to smile and see/feel the difference!)
  • it relieves stress (it has been tested and found in a medical documentation that a smile is in fact, a natural relief for a stress. So, why don't you smile for a second? Beside relieves stress, it makes you healthier, and can help you live a longer and happier life!)
  • it lowers your blood pressure (the best and inexpensive cure, don't you think so? What more could you ask for?)
  • it makes you happier (it is a natural drug, if some of you didn't know that!)
  • it makes you look younger (probably people will thought that you are much younger that you are! How cool is that? :) )
In case any of you forgot how to smile, here are some suggestions of how you can do it!

Thus, why wait? Smile! Why don't you give it a try to the one next to you now and see how the magic works!

Happy Saturday, people! xxx

Guten Tag ~ Good Day

Do you speak German?

Well, I don't. *grins* But, I have once had a German housemate once and I have told him my interest on the language! I mean, imagine if say, me... I am a girl from Malaysia, who can speak German language fluently? That would simply amazed people from all over the country, I'd say?

What do you think? *rolling eyes*

Therefore, for a start... let's have this, shall we?

Order a schadenfreude movie on DVD now!

Now, well said... isn't it? *twirl*

It's Playbook, baby!

Photo: Garry Mcleod; Origami: Robert Lang

Hey all. I have been trying to post few times for the past few days, but to no avail. I thought I did posted it, but for some reason it does not appears?

I have got myself a new gadget! It's a Blackberry Playbook! It is amazing! It truly is. :)

And since then, I have been trying to post my entry from one of the application for Blackberry, but as I have said, it just went wrong somewhere, somehow. I failed. And worst, all those times, I have typed in a lot, but then the paragraphs just gone. "Pooffff!" Just like that. :(

It's late and it's my laundry night tonight, so I have piles of clothes to hang. Loads of 'em. And I got back from work sometimes around, well... nearly 10pm. Oh. That is life. Well, to be exact, that is my life.

I am pleased to know you. Do you? :)

An Experiement is Due

So, I have been signing in and off ... but I have been away a lot lately. Sorry!!!!! :(

Anyway, here I am and there are few things that I want to share with you guys. :)

First, I am heading to Dublin in less than a week for my graduation! :) I am so excited yet I am quite nervous about it! But then again, I will only be there for two days and one night before my mummy and I will be heading out to Bratislava, Budapest and Vienna! Fun, fun, fun time for me!! ;) At least, some time off from work... oh the excitement! ;)

Secondly, I got myself an external flash for my Holga camera. And I am so excited to try it out - probably tomorrow. I have also bought several types of films (thanks to my best girlfriend - Sexyinred. You were right about the shop, missus!! ;) Thank you! ) and definitely will be fun to try it out!! Instead of using 120 film to my Holga, I will be using 35mm film. And the results will come out showing the sprocket holes! Fun, eh? ;)

So, that is about it. And I will update more fun photos soon - if the photos turn out okay, of course! ;)

Good night and Happy Halloween peeps! ;) xxxx

Weddings

Hi all!!! :) How's everyone doing?

First thing first. Yesterday was exactly two weeks I started working. It's not so bad. In fact, it's quite fun. But of course, since have not been working as a Quantity Surveyor for about a year, it is a bit awkward to see things. All the drawings, measurements... there is a lot that I have to catch up to be back on track again.

On the other hand, my weekends have been filled with many wedding invitations either from my friends or from my mum's. So, most of every weekends we will not have lunch at home but at wedding receptions instead. It's fun to see the bride in so many different type of wedding dress and decorations made. And of course, in Malay weddings all the guests will be given a token when they leave. This is also the best part of the wedding reception - at least for me.

My favourite part of Malay weddings is to see what will be given - it's either a boiled egg in a nice ceramic cup or sometimes attached to a woven flower made with ribbons? or probably, sweets/chocolates in a little ceramic basket, etc. But traditionally, the boiled egg is the one used since forever. It is called "bunga telur" (flower egg).

As a matter of fact, I just came back from a wedding tonight. And there will be another one tomorrow at lunch time too. See, I told you there are so many invitations! :)

I will catch up with you guys again! Take care and have a good weekend to all!

My Lovelies

So, since I am still unemployed and sitting at home doing basically nothing - oh, my sister is at home as well since it is a school holiday, here in Malaysia - my life is filled with fun and joy with these two lovelies.

They are HUGE and as fluffy as one kitten could be! I have been playing with them all day - sometimes they bit me (especially the little one!). The other one is more laid-back and he is as lazy as Garfield while the little one is too playful!

Then, we have another cat as well - the nana for these two as she is so old, probably about 12-15 years of age and she hates these two kiddies!

Everytime they try to make friends, the nana would be so pissed off and hissed at them. But somehow, it shows that these two kiddies respect her for some reason - probably the seniority works in feline-life too! ;)

Well, here are some of the kittens photos. Enjoy and have a nice day people!!

Part 2 - Gent & Amsterdam

So, there we were... in the Dam! *wink*

It was a good fun! We went from train station, being so foolish, don't know how to get to the hostel, then we got a taxi from the train station! Unfortunately, the hostel was only less than five minutes drive, but the taxi driver charged us fifteen quid! What an arsehole! With the reason, he is the chartered cab! Silly us, we can't really afford to perform such drama, so we just nodded!

We went to the hostel, check in, put the bag in the lockers, and off we went to bed! Was a great four hours sleep, as we woke up again later, and freshen up, and continue our main attraction in Amsterdam! COFFEE SHOP!

Did you know that it is legal to smoke joints in Amsterdam? *grins* So, we went to one after another coffee shop with big grins, and walk around the city! We were giggling now and then, as we were too high with the 'legal cannabis!'

We just walked around the city, with loads of shops aligns on the street. Then we even went to the Red Light District! There were girls displayed behind the windows. Tapping the windows when everytime guys passed by. Like promoting themselves. Ah, prostitution is legal as well in Amsterdam. It's like the classic way of purchasing a prostitute! But, when we walked pass through, and because of too high, we were giggling along the way, we can't deny that we got few angry stares from this girls! It was hilarious.

We keep on doing the same thing for three days and two nights we were there. It was brilliant! On the last day in Amsterdam, we got really really tired and stoned as well! I started to get cough and flu. Been sneezing around. When it was the time to go to the airport, we looked like a zombie, more or less the same! We just on time in the airport, and we basically nearly missed the flight! *giggles*

When we arrived in Dublin airport, things got more worst! We looked completely wrecked! We dragged the bags, and pass the custom / immigration when the lady is actually stopped us and was asking us where we were flying from. After we told her that we from Amsterdam, she quickly asked us to scan the bags! It was so funny. I thought that we looked really really dreadful that we became so suspicious to look at! Luckily, she didn't ask to search our bags! We did bring back something! *wink*

That's the whole story of the trip! I would want to do it again though. But there is no more music festivals like that, as such in the time being! Plan for next year, probably! I'll put up pictures soon, but it is a dreadful pictures! Even the pictures from I Love Techno! I was just too wrecked to snap a shot! :)

Good night!

Back to Beautiful Life?

It's Monday, but then again its a holiday. Today is the August Bank Holiday for Dublin. I was out last night, to see Ben Sims playing in Andrews Lane. It's not to bad I must say. *wink*
Got back home at half six in the morning, as we went to an after party in friends house. It was brilliant. Nothing much to report, but one thing I have discovered. We will somehow ought to be abide by what we have and somehow, it will be a routine. Ah, I know I did not make sense at all, on everything I said here.
But here goes... I just discover something, I am so cannot be angry or mad at one person (no matter who they are, but this would happened if he / she is close to me), no later than two days. Somehow, it tells that whether I am naive and stupid, or I am a good girl with good feelings inside that barely let me have the negative things inside? But what I opt for is the first one. I think I am naive and stupid. But am I?
Oh and one more thing, I think I hate confrontation. That is why, everything should be all okay. So that it won't lead to commotion and disaster scenario, instead a beautiful normal life style, would be better I must say.
I just wish that, no more confrontation to be let happened, instead... I just want everything to be normal. What is so wrong to have a normal scene? Somehow, fights, silent-treatment, etc. is just simply not worth it. I just want things to be normal. When it was normal, everything was so fun.
Everyday filled with laughters, smiles, stupid jokes, gigglings and happy things basically everyday. It was so much fun. But now its more about not talking, quiet-worst than the library, sad faces, weird faces, reluctant to even say something... its obviously huge difference from what it was used to be.
Uhuhh, if only I had a wish, I only wish for it to be back to normal. Somehow, I do miss the ol' times. Somehow, how I wish...
A music from Infected Mushroom, I wish... Somehow, I think the music is addictive? ;)

A Loaf of Bread?

It has started with a gloomy, grey Monday, but alas... Mr. Sun came out later this evening! Hooray!! *wink*

I am so broke this week. And few more days for pay day! How stupid I was to go out last weekend and spend the supposed money for this week. So, I have been bringing food to the office,
for my lunch.

Well, on my way back home from work, I stopped by Dunnes Store (sort of like a grocery shop), and bought myself two cans of tuna and a loaf of bread. It's for tomorrow's lunch box. Then, I put the two cans in my handbag and hold on to the huge loaf of bread, and walk to the bus stop for another bus to go straight to my home.

While walking with the bread... something, suddenly occurred my mind. The bread feel so soft and comfy. And then, I had a thought.

What if a pillow is made of bread?

It would be the softest pillow and the best pillow ever, as you can eat the pillow as soon as you woke up from bed, and feeling hungry!! An edible pillow?!!! Wonder how comfy it would be for oneself, to have a room full of bread, and you can basically jump consecutively, while munching the pillow at one time?!!!

It will be wonderful!!!

How I wonder... *wink*

Join In The Fun

The world has been shocked by a step forward of a new fan-club of a tee hee hee community. Everyone is basically talking about it! It's Daddy P Fan Club, officially launched today!

I have basically nothing much to comment about it, just that I think it is such an aggressive attempt from DaddyP to get all the goddesses attention around the world! At least, 70steen, TNB and me are in it! So, that means GOOD! *wink*

I know that most of the times, DaddyP has been so annoying, attempting to get all the goddesses around the world's attention. And shockingly, he did! But sometimes, it's quite fun actually!

So, my advice is, enrol now and you won't (I hope I am right here, before somebody tend to kill me if it's not as what has been said) regret! I'm sure it'll be so much fun. Just mind this, he's just an ol' git, so maybe let him be the way he want it! *giggles*

CLICK HERE now to join in! The more, the merrier! *kisses to all*

P/S: Read more here. The first Fanzine of DaddyP brought to you by 70steen. *wink*

Shining Like A Star!

Ahaaa... Forget to tell you!

I got myself a new nail colour! I cut my long nails, and now it is so short as it is. I don't have long, beautiful nails like how usually girls have. As far as I am concern, I have short and hideous nails. *giggles to myself*

I envy girls with long, sexy fingers with long beautiful nails. After I have my nails cut (as it has grown so long
that I have difficulties with 'em), I paint th
em again. In different colours. But, I like it though!

Have a peek on my short and hideous yet shining nails! *wink*

I am off to bed now!

So, what do you think? ;)
